No Tracking, No Ads

Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of data a website asks your browser to store, usually to remember who you are between page loads.

The only cookies we use

We use exactly two cookies, both strictly necessary to keep you signed in. Neither can be read by JavaScript (they're httpOnly), and both are dropped the moment you log out or they expire:

  • katz_admin_session: keeps a staff member or the owner signed in to the admin area. Expires after 12 hours.
  • katz_loyalty_session: keeps a customer signed in to their loyalty account. Expires after 30 days.

Your browser may also remember a small, non-cookie "I've seen the cookie notice" preference locally so we don't show the banner again. That never leaves your device.

What we don't use

No analytics cookies, no advertising or retargeting cookies, and no third-party tracking scripts of any kind. We don't build a profile of you or share your browsing activity with ad networks.

Third-party sites

Pages that embed or link to third-party services (the Google Maps location embed, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or a WhatsApp chat you open yourself) are governed by those services' own cookie and privacy policies, not ours.

Managing cookies

Because our only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in, disabling them just signs you out. There's no tracking cookie to opt out of separately. You can still clear or block cookies entirely from your browser's settings at any time.

Changes to this policy

If the cookies we use ever change, we'll update this page and its "Last updated" date. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information more broadly.
